No, they close from 3-5 daily.
Yep. Beer and sake (maybe more but that's what I tend toward).
Not a bar
The first time I went here my wife and I were not impressed, we ordered a roll that came in a bowl which really threw us off. We tried it again (because it was a Monday night and all the other Sushi restaurants are closed on Mondays go figure) and we have to say the food was great. Service is still slow because they only have one chief but, ordering 2 rolls up front is the secret. Unlike most Sushi places where the chief or staff greets you when you walk in or even talks with you (which is why we always sit at the bar plus we enjoy seeing our rolls made) this chief doesn't talk or smile. I can understand when he told us that he works 7 days a week. That would get old after awhile. Still the food is yummy.
Amazing food and great service with good recommendations. Best sushi I've been to in Arizona so far.
Paid 7 dollars for 6 slices of an avocado roll with the slightest amount of avocado you imagine. Also paid 16.50 for a cup of ramen that tasted slightly better than the stuff you buy at the grocery store for 45 cents a packet. .01/10 do not recommend.
Great sushi choices, other options for those who don't eat seafood. Probably the best sushi in town right now.
Great food that was presented wonderfully and served very quickly. Will definitely be returning. Sat at the bar and was able to see the rolls being made as they have an open kitchen. There were quite a few people already dining and a party of 8 came in shortly after we arrived but the food was still very quick out of the kitchen and delicious. Finished off the meal with fried ice cream (mint chip) that had a breading on it that I would eat on it's own. Overall it was an enjoyable experience with great food. This was my first visit but it surely will not be the last.Edit: After going through my bank statement for other reasons I happened to notice that they double charged the tip amount I left. If I visit again I will not be tipping on that visit unless there's something extraordinary about it. I tipped in both cash and on my card for over a 15% tip for a party of two, but with the extra charge the overall tip was just over 25%.
Amazing Sushi, Amazing customer service!!! Thank you for helping me get my Sushi fix!!!!
Crazy Acker Night in Prescott where most of the restaurants and retailers host various musical groups with the donations going to support musical programs in the local school districts. Despite that and having a packed house we were promptly seated and Wendy our waitress took our order and brought drinks. We ordered a large Sushi Combo platter which was nicely done and very fresh. It had been a while since we had eaten here but we will be back for the 11:30 -1:30 "Happy Hour" where select sushi, rolls and wine are at bargain prices.
This place has amazing sushi! Cute little place. Great service!
My family eats here usually once a week and we absolutely love it. Great food great service and there is never a wait. I would highly recomend it.
The food is amazing! The staff are all very nice, and the environment is one of the best sushi restaurants I have ate at, I reccomend eating here!
Tasty/fresh food, great service, and cute downtown location. My coworkers and I come here at least once a week for lunch. The Tuna Poke bowl is my go to order! It is an appetizer option but honestly its large enough to be a perfect lunch portion. Highly recommend it!
Amazing food ! No other sushi place compare with this one . Not even from Phoenix! Best food in town ! Congrats to the owner . Wish they wouldn't change portion sizes but I guess it depends on the chef .
Best spot to grab sushi in Prescott. Friendly and courteous staff. Good selection of specialty and house rolls.
Excellent service, great menu, and delicious food! Highly recommend.
The staff was very nice and attentive (although it was a less busy Monday night) and the food came out quickly. The rice was a bit too clumpy for my preference and the nigiri (salmon and eel) was a bit too big to get in a single bite (could be considered a pro or a con). The cucumber and Maki rolls were inconsistently cut making for some very big mouthfuls again. The hot sake was good for a house sake and the flavors were pretty good. If you don't like the ginger ask for none because I'm not a fan and the juices ended up not getting squeezed out and they ran all over my rolls. I'd still give them another shot though. Kiiiinda pricy for the quality though so I'm being a little picky.
Great location, great atmosphere and most importantly very very delicious
Great food and great service. Would definitely go again.
This is what vegan sushi looks like? Really? My cat can make a better roll. We ordered some tofu with noodle... I think they dropped a bag of salt into it. So very disappointing. Had I seen it before leaving I would have insisted on a refund.
Very good food and customer service! I do recommend!
Great food! This was our second time. Both times the male waiter and female waitress were bickering. They tried to hide it but it was evident they do not get along. The female is excellent. We had her our first time. Very attentive. The second visit we had the male never checked on us. Just took order and delivered. Never stopped to ask how was it going or did we need something. My hubby had to flag him down for a fork. If you’re lucky, ask for the girl. I think her name is Wendy. The sushi is amazing. Maybe the two can call it TRUCE! Make it a pleasant visit for everyone.
Amazing customer service and food! They did not disappoint in any way!
Great food and good prices. Love the miso soup and the Sakura roll. I've been there half a dozen times and always had good service. Great happy hour too!
I love this place. They have THE best sushi in town. Not to mention great sake, and friendly staff. Since I moved here, this is my favorite place to eat. I'm so glad I found them.
Great atmosphere. Tons of options to choose from. Great place to spend an evening.
Ginza Sushi is one of our favorite places to go. The food and the service are great. The staff is always friendly.
Amazing restaurant. Always fantastic service and great quality food. The staff is very friendly. I have become a regular and I enjoy it immensely!
Amazing experience here. Wait staff was super friendly and helpful, willing to help with menu and drink recommendations. Food was delicious too and fairly quick. I would highly recommend for a great dinner.
Clean, delicious, in my experience fast. Polite.
They have an amazing lunch special deal. Favorite sushi spot on the square for sure
Trust me when I say I'm not a sushi expert, but for just a great meal you got to try it. We will be back soon.
The pho was made like it was ramon. Way over dressed. The broth was off too. I believe they used premade beef broth. This was also true for the meso soup. Very American : ( The pho was sent back with a little push back from the waiter but i suspect this is not the first time with the pho. Was quick to get my new order. (Been a long time since i have sent back food it was just a mess). Meso soup was small most sushi places don't charge for it, here it was 2.75 for a small bowel. The sunrise sushi was amazing!! Totally worth it. The green mussels where cooked to perfection! Precut so u do not choke tgats a great touch!
Great food, great service!
Great sushi for the area prices are decent. The Poke Bowl is not too bad a great appetizer.
The surf and turf roll was delicious
The best sushi I have ever had! So fresh and flavorful! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for!
Charming place to enjoy some good sushi.Although the chefs are not Japanese, their rolls are delicious (Song, one of the owners, is Japanese)The owners are really pleasant.Certainly a must if you like sushi.
Excellent option for Asian cuisine.
Love this place! Conveniently located in downtown Prescott. Fresh sushi rolls made to order and saki bombers are available too! Atmosphere is kick back and casual. The "Sushi maker" & staff are very nice. I highly suggest the deep fried California roll. 🍣 I will definitely be back and would recommend this place over anywhere else in the area if your looking for fresh sushi! 👍👍
I will start out by saying the service was great- he was very attentive. (This should have been expected as they weren’t busy.) We were sat at a table that was sticky and had to ask for the waiter to wipe it down. I went to pour some soy sauce and it wouldn’t come out, as i assume it hadn’t been cleaned because it was clogged. My spouse and I ordered three specialty rolls (Superman, the white out, and Phoenix) and they were not good at all; They were soggy and had a bad flavor. We love sushi so this surprised us! We will not be going back... we’ll stick to Fujiyama which we much prefer.
Good food. Prices are a little steep, but considering it’s sushi it’s justifiable. Only one thing was I ordered another roll of sushi, after the initial order, and it took almost 45 minutes for them to make, so slow service.
It was Valentine's day and my boyfriend and I got all dressed up and went to Ginza Sushi in Prescott, AZ. Once we got there, we were seated with a single pair of chopsticks on a sticky table. After 25 minutes of being ignored, no menus, no drinks, no server, we decided that we should just get up and leave. The managers only response to this was to tell the people waiting "Table for two? Right this way" to the table that we had gotten up from. Very bad experience on a very important day for restaurants. Will not be returning because of this. Heed my warning and stay away.
Really like their PHO beef soup and the godfather roll! Yummy!!
Good sushi and friendly service. Get the jalapeno peppers. Otherwise good to go on everything else.
In town for the weekend and stumbled across this restaurant. Fish is super fresh and cold. Rolls are awesome and the staff was wonderful. The restaurant is very clean. Can't say enough good things.
good atmosphere and friendly staff, food deliverd just right and overall just a very solid place to take a friend or relative out for a new experience.
The food was super gross and overcooked. Will not be going back
Whether you're new to town or a seasoned resident, this place is a must try. The food was amazing, seasoned individually to my groups palette. The drinks were generous and the art by a talented local resident named Song completed the atmosphere. I encourage you to give this place a go.
Quick and friendly staff, the food was served beautifully and equally delicious! Highly recommend you give them a try.
Great staff and food. I would highly recommend.
